4 tips to solve Your Phone Network Problem

Your iPhone has Network Problem? Our 4 tips to solve the problem

Your iPhone suddenly no longer picks up? Unable to make a call or send a message? Does your phone tell you “Network unavailable"? Here are the solutions to fix the problem yourself.

1. Airplane mode

It may seem obvious to some, but first, check that you are not in “airplane mode”. If so, disable it.

You can also use airplane mode to search networks. Enable it for a few seconds, then disable it. This manipulation will push the iPhone to search for the network and sometimes this is enough to solve the problem.

Check your operator's network coverage on the internet. There may be an outage in your area. You can search for your city and check if there is a network problem in your area. You can also call the helpline number of your network provider to confirm if there is an outage.

2. iPhone settings

Check if a carrier settings update is available. To do this, make sure your device is connected to a Wi-Fi network. Then go to "settings" then "general" then "information" and if an update of the operator settings is available an option to install it will be displayed. “Update”.

Also, check if an iOS update is available. To do this, go to “settings” then “general” then “Update”. If there is one available, install it.

You can also reset network settings. To do this, go to your iPhone settings then to “general” then “reset” and there you have “reset network settings”. (Note that this operation also resets the Wi-Fi networks and therefore their passwords, you will have to remember to put them back).

3. The sim card

It may also be that the problem comes from your sim card. It is rare and normally your iPhone displays a message if the sim card does not work but you can always check by putting it in another smartphone and if your sim does not work correctly then you must order one from your operator.

4. Network antenna

And finally, if none of these tricks works, it is surely a hardware problem. This most often happens when you have already opened your iPhone, it has been repaired or it is a refurbished phone. Open it again and check that all the screws are in place on all the components.

The chassis of the iPhone acts as an antenna and if all the elements are not correctly in place it is possible that the phone can no longer play its antenna function.

After opening, nothing seems abnormal and everything is in place, so it is likely that your network antenna is damaged. In this case, you can change this network antenna yourself. It's a lot easier than you might think.
